Overheard from the kitchen-Homeschool kids are soooo smart!

A couple of random bits of conversation overheard from the kitchen in the past 10 minutes or so. Are these an accurate reflection of my children's levels of intelligence?

#4 child - Are strawberries fruits or berries?
# Me - I think they are both
#4 child - But they can't be fruits since the seeds are on the outside
# Me - I don't know, maybe they aren't fruit
#4 child - Well I don't like asparagus
#2 child - You've never had asparagus
#4 child - I still don't like it

There was no indication of surprise from any of us that the conversation went without pause from strawberries to asparagus

#2 child - You can't tickle yourself
#1 child - So
#2 child - When you get married you become one with your spouse
#1 child - So
#2 child - So, then you can tickle yourself

#4 child - Fried flies, goose goulash, hamburgers, nightingale nuggets, an order of possum...

I stopped listening at that point, I was getting a little scared she was making up a meal plan.
